Brown Eyed Beans
Its origin is unclear, although it is believed to be originated in tropical Africa, from where have dispersed to other regions with similar climate, such as India. It has several subspecies, such as beans-whip, which have, in turn, numerous varieties, grown for the edible seeds of various shapes and colors, also used as especially nutritious fodder and as green manure.
Black Eyed Beans
The black-eyed pea or black-eyed bean, a legume, is a subspecies of the cowpea, grown around the world for its medium-sized, edible bean. The common commercial one is called the California Blackeye; it is pale-colored with a prominent black spot. A common variation of the black-eyed pea is the purple hull pea; it is usually green with a prominent purple or pink spot. The currently accepted botanical name for the black-eyed pea is Vigna unguiculata subsp. unguiculata, although previously it was classified in thegenus Phaseolus.
Black Beans
The Black Bean is one of the common bean which is a highly variable species with a long history. Bush varieties form erect bushes 20–60 cm (8–20 in) tall, while pole or running varieties form vines 2–3 m (7–10 ft) long. All varieties bear alternate, green or purple leaves, which are divided into three oval, smooth-edged leaflets, each 6–15 cm (2–6 in) long and 3–11 cm (1–4 in) wide. The white, pink, or purple flowers are about 1 cm long, and they give way to pods 8–20 cm (3–8 in) long and 1–1.5 cm wide. These may be green, yellow, black, or purple in color, each containing 4–6 beans. The beans are smooth, plump, kidney-shaped, up to 1.5 cm long, range widely in color, and are often mottled in two or more colors.
Green Mung Bean
The Green Mung Bean is an annual plant that quite measure up to 65 cm, of the legume family, subfamily Papilionoidea probably Indonesian native and widely cultivated in Southeast Asia, India, Africa, North America and Brazil. This species has yellowish-green flowers and linear pods, yellow, edible, with ovoid seeds, small, yellowish-green, high nutritional value and medicinal properties.

Soybean
Soy belongs to the Fabaceae family, as well as beans, lentils and peas. It is used in food, particularly in the edible oil industry. The word soy comes from Japanese shoyu. Soybeans originated in China and Japan. Soybean (Glycine max) is a rich grain in proteins, cultivated as food for both humans and for animals.
Soybean oil is the most used by the world's population in food preparation. Other derivatives of soy products include soy-based beverages, oils, flour, soap, cosmetics, resins, paints, solvents and biodiesel.
Chickpeas
The grain-pea is a pulse with significant culinary and nutritional qualities, being rich in protein, minerals and vitamins B. In addition, due to the large amount of cellulose contained in the bark, the grain-peas stimulates bowel function.
The grain-peas, from a nutritional point of view, it is an excellent food.
Due to its large amount of starch, is used by the body for energy. It is low in water and fat, and is cholesterol-free.

Peas
There are two types of grain, smooth and rough; the former is smaller, sturdier, ripening before the other. This one, however, is more popular because it is larger and sweeter. Peas are easy to digest food, and can be stored dry or canned. The plant is a vine of compound leaves ending in tendrils.
Lentils
The lentils were cooked since pre-historic times in the Middle East, from where it spread to southern Europe and central and north Africa. The lentil soup remains a popular preparation throughout the region.
According to some sources, lentils are beneficial to health, mainly due to fibers which provide the body, but also due to several important compounds for metabolism, such as folate and various minerals.
Consume lentils during the New Year is a common habit in countries like Brazil, Chile and Venezuela. It is believed that the small seeds, round and flat as coins, attract good luck in the financial field.
